Primary case study
I built and deployed CaseLens with a Java backend, React reviewer interface, PostgreSQL, transactional outbox, SQS processing, AI validation, deterministic fallback, human correction, Terraform, and CI.
Explainable AI / asynchronous processing / AWS
CaseLens classifies synthetic support incidents, cites exact evidence, applies policy, and suggests a next action. Reviewers can inspect each processing step across PostgreSQL, the outbox, SQS, the worker, provider validation, and stored results.
Additional work

FastAPI / CI/CD / GCP / operations
A service and infrastructure lab built around deployment evidence: health and metrics endpoints, structured logs, containers, Terraform, Kubernetes manifests, smoke probes, and runbooks.
Current direction
I use small cloud systems to practise tracing failures across boundaries, making recovery safe, measuring behavior, and documenting enough context for another engineer to operate the service.

My cloud work builds on about three years of Java and Spring Boot experience in fintech.
Worked on fintech backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, SQL, tests, and production troubleshooting. Transaction systems taught me to care about correctness, traceability, and what happens after deployment.
Completed postgraduate programs in Cloud Computing at Durham College and Information Technology at Conestoga College, adding AWS, infrastructure, networking, containers, and delivery workflows to my software background.
I build and deploy systems with queues, cloud infrastructure, observability, recovery controls, and explicit validation around AI behavior.

How I work
I use AI for research, implementation, and review. Before accepting its output, I check the source, tests, runtime behavior, and failure cases.
Map the user impact, system boundary, inputs, and failure modes.
Choose the smallest design that keeps data intact and failures understandable.
Test normal behavior, failure recovery, infrastructure, and the deployed path.
Add useful logs and metrics, document recovery, and learn from corrections.
I want to support production systems, improve delivery and reliability, and connect technical work to a customer or business need.
